Daedong Seoul Office Interior
In the lively district of Gunja-dong in Seoul, the new Daedong headquarters takes shape as a strategic rehabilitation project. Occupying a 224.79 m² floor within a mixed-use urban building, the space has been fully reimagined as a hub for operational management, partner reception, and applied culinary research. Guided by the principles of Archi-Therapy, the interior is designed to care for its users. Through a careful balance of materials and spatial composition, it creates a warm and grounded environment where people can engage, focus, and reconnect.

Structuring Without Constraining
The design draws inspiration from classical elements mouldings, brass lighting, and symmetry, but reinterprets them through a contemporary lens grounded in quiet hospitality. Open volumes, soft transitions between zones, and a thoughtful hierarchy of ceiling heights create a subtle gradient between public, semi-private, and private areas. This spatial strategy enhances both clarity and fluidity of use across the entire floor plan.
Framing Human Interaction
At the heart of the project is its ability to support and stage meaningful interactions: casual conversations over coffee, creative sessions in soft lounges, or more structured meetings in warm glass-enclosed rooms. The furniture strikes a balance between domestic comfort and professional precision. It supports each moment without imposing on it. Here, design acts as a quiet mediator, encouraging both connection and concentration within the same environment.
Atmospheres Built to Be Felt
The project is shaped by a delicate interplay of sensory qualities. Natural light is softened by sheer curtains and complemented by carefully positioned ambient lighting. Materials were selected for their tactile and visual depth textured fabrics, pale wood flooring, satin-finish walls, and polished marbles with brass edging. Acoustics are managed through absorbent ceilings, custom rugs, and spatial arrangements that reduce echo.Together, these elements compose an atmosphere that is calm, stable, and elegant, a space where every gesture feels intentional and at ease.
A Space as Cultural Signature
This space does not aim to represent the brand, but to embody it in daily life. Through the quality of its atmosphere and the care given to everyday use, it expresses a way of working and relating to others that is discreet, demanding, and deeply committed. Every detail is crafted to create a setting that is warm, composed, and conducive to dialogue, a place where one can collaborate, focus, and find balance in an environment designed equally for performance and well-being.
